With this system it should be possible to study problems related to technologies, standards, devices that allow performing a normal telephone conversation by using a packet switching network, such as the IP network on which Internet is based.
Objectives:
Training of an installation and maintenance technician for IP telephony systems able to: Know the principles, the standards and the devices normally used in the VoIP, Install VoIP systems in existing IP networks, Perform the maintenance, the troubleshooting, the tests on VoIP systems. The educational path of this Training Package must cover the following subjects: Introduction to the communication networks, The practical advantages of the IP telephony, How the IP telephony works, The devices for the IP telephony, How to implement connections and VoIP telephony, Exercises with Gateway VoIP. The Training Package must be composed of the following modules and devices: two VoIP Gateway devices - two Analogue telephones - one software with theory, animations, questions, support programs. The trainer must work with two PC with Ethernet networks and Windows operating system.
