The training cutaway model is equipped with the original components of a Toyota Prius hybrid drive (gasoline/electric drive) or similar.

The unit is mounted on a mobile, stable and powder-coated tubular steel frame.

The model is cut in such a way that the components and their functions are clearly visible.

4-cylinder combustion engine, generator, CVT gearbox, electric drive motor, inverter and HV battery are partially cut out.

The entire drive train can be observed in motion, as the cutaway model is driven by two 230 V electric motors.

The training model is controlled using the Prius Hybrid simulation software, interface and PC (included in the scope of delivery).

In the first part of the program, the operating states start, normal operation, maximum load, braking, EV mode and stop are controlled either manually via buttons at the bottom of the screen or in an "automatic mode" one after the other.

The energy flow is also displayed in an animation.

The stored text information can be output using the optional voice output.

In another part of the program, the so-called power split device of the Prius can be explained.
