The Experiment set-up consists of the following:

  1. A.C. / D.C. Milliammeter, Diameter 65 mm, to read (range 0-20 mA)
  2. Regulated Power Supply with low ripple 5V at 20 mA
  3. Phototransistor
  4. Light Dependent Resistor (LDR)
  5. Infrared sources such as an IR LED
  6. Table Lamp with Incandescent lamps (40 W, 60 W, 100 W)
  7. Variable resistance 0-100E for intensity adjust
  8. Switch SPST 2A
  9. Mains ON/OFF switch, Fuse and Jewel light.
  10. The unit is operative on 230V ±10% at 50Hz A.C. Mains.
  11. Adequate no. of patch cords stackable from rear both ends 4mm spring loaded plug length 50cm.
  12. Good quality, reliable terminal/sockets are provided at appropriate places on panel for connections/ observation of waveforms.
