Students' benches should consist of units joined together.
- Two benches located in the centre of the laboratory room, each one consisting of four units joined together.
Three units are bench units with the following specifications:
- Dimensions: 1100 mm x 1800 mm x 1612 mm.
- 4 open book shelves under each side of the bench.
- 2 service columns installed to a height of 1612 mm on each side.
- 2 open shelves installed on the service columns, with a carrying capacity of up to 15 kg.
- 2 Y-type double gas taps.
- 4 iron tripod stands.
- 2 dual electrical DP switched socket.One unit is a sink unit with the following specifications:
- Dimensions: 1100 mm x 700 mm x 1612 mm
- 1 trespa back panel with a height of 1612 mm.
- 1 single basin of a suitable size made of acid-resistant material and a cupboard with a waste bin and two closing doors underneath.
- 2 water taps with long curved necks on each side of the sink unit.The front corners of the unit should be curved and blunt.
- 1 holder for draining tools installed on the opposite wall of the sink unit
