- To determine the elastic modulus and beam deflection
- To study continuous beams with various loadings
- The apparatus consists:
- an upper cross member carrying a graduated scale, and two lower members bolted to tee-legs
- 3 load cells and cantilever support pillar slide
- The distance between supports should be adjustable
- 4 weight hangers and set of weights: 1 kg - 10 units
- 3 dial gauges (metric unit)
- "Standard" test specimen beams of round, square, tube, tee, and I-sections of at least 3 different materials each
