The POS system should come with a printer (as shown in the picture) for printing the bills. Do ensure the software is for Training purpose. Also, the card machine should be connected to wifi or Bluetooth for connectivity.
Software: Used for taking order, table management, setting menu, taking reservation, generating bills in a F&B outlet.
For the training software, vendor will need to program to what is needed. Such as a list of menu items from appetizer, soup, main course, desserts, beverages. What is required for students to train on will be keying in orders, printing of bills, payment of bills – cash credit card, e-payment. Table management – Vendor will need to help program layout of the restaurant with tables and table numbers. Reservation management – able to take guests information and key into the system for reservations.
A restaurant POS system is both the software and hardware restaurants must have the facility to take customers' orders, accept payments, manage food inventory and ultimately manage the entire operation.
