SPECIFICATION

  • This is "Newton's law of motion first law" model which is used in schools & colleges to demonstrate  students that body will not start moving until and unless external force acts on it.
  • Newton's Second Law of Motion is a fundamental principle in classical mechanics that describes how  the velocity of an object changes when it is subjected to an external force.
  • Newton's second law states that the acceleration of an object depends upon two variables – the net force acting on the object and the mass of the object.
  • The acceleration of the body is directly proportional to the net force acting on the body and inversely proportional to the mass of the body.
  • Action-reaction trolleys are a  physics demonstration that illustrate Newton's third law of motion, also known as the law of action and reaction.
  • The law states that when two objects interact, they apply forces to each other that are equal in magnitude but  opposite in direction.
  • Newton’s Third Law: The force applied to one trolley is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction to the force applied to the other trolley.
  • This demonstrates the action-reaction pair of forces.
