Drum:
- Inside Diameter: 711 ±5 mm
- Inside Length: 508 ±5 mm
- Steel Wall Thickness: Minimum 12.5 mm

Cover:
- Dust-tight cover shall be provided.

Shelf:
- Rectangular, wear-resistant steel shelf mounted inside the drum, extending along its full length, projecting 89 ± 2 mm with a thickness of 12.7 mm.

Rotation:
- Uniform rotational speed of 30 to 33 r.p.m..

Display:
- A counter or digital display should be provided to set the number of revolutions easily.
- The display counter should be separate from the machine and connected to the current supply control with the electric line.
- After completing 500 revolutions, the machine must stop. The counter should show the last reading (number of revolutions) even after stopping.
- Tray:
- Rectangular steel tray with handle for collecting test specimens after the test.
- The tray must fit below the cover of the drum.
- Charge:
- Steel spheres (12 nos/set) with an approximate diameter of 46.8 mm and a weight between 390 to 445 gm.
- The spheres should allow for four types of combinations: A (12 spheres, 5000 ± 25 gm), B (11 spheres, 4584 ± 25 gm), C (8 spheres, 3330 ± 20 gm), and D (6 spheres, 2500 ± 15 gm).
- Motor:
- A brand new motor with a minimum 1 HP rating should be provided to run the machine.
