SPECIFICATION

LED array is seven color LEDs & a white LED, used to demonstrate diffraction at different wavelength. Measure current & voltage across each LED and measure the Planck's constant graphically. LED array has a selector switch for all LED's or individual LED mode. A Rotary switch for selection of LED under investigation. Three 4mm socket provide for voltage and current measurement across each LED. By knowing voltage and current, actual forward voltage of each LED can be measured using LED characteristics curve. A variable power supply additionaly recommended for measurement of LED V-I characteristics. The LED can easily be viewed by whole class. Depending on the diffraction grating used, first, second and third order diffraction pattern can be observed and used for calculation. Supplied without multi-meter and diffraction grating.

EXPERIMENTS
· Calculate the wavelength of any LED.
· Measure voltage and current across each LED.
· Demonstrate diffraction of different wavelengths.
· Determine planck's constant.
