SPECIFICATION

Table-top apparatus that demonstrates the relationship between pressure and volume of an ideal gas at a fixed temperature.
The device uses normal dry, clean air, behaving as an ideal gas over the range of  pressures used in this device.
The digital pointer measures the change in height of the trapped air column.
A mechanical manometer measures the pressure of trapped air.
The thermocouple display and digital display measure the temperature of the trapped air to ensure that students maintain a constant air temperature during exams.
Students maintain a constant temperature while recording changes in volume with applied pressure. Then they plotted the results to prove Boyle's law.
