SPECIFICATION
- This apparatus consists of a circle quadrant of square cross section with dimensions 100mm each side & the circular part with internal radius of about 150mm, mounted on the top of a perspex box of suitable size by a knife edged axis defining the centre of the quadrant.
- The quadrant to be provided with a balancing mechanism without water and a mechanism to find the moment required to balance the quadrant when subject to hydrostatic pressure.
- The entire apparatus to be placed on a table to when using.
- To demonstrate the centre of pressure on vertical walls subject to hydrostatic pressure.
