SPECIFICATION

Panels made in metal case with bench support and the electrical scheme on the front panel. The board shall consist of a simple although complete stereo FM transmitter, operating in the commercial FM broadcasting band. The board shall consist in a simple though complete stereo FM transmitter, operating in commercial FM broadcasting band. The equipment shall be complete of audio amplifiers, stereo encoder, quartz-controlled PLL local oscillator and RF and output stages. Operating frequency of the transmitter: 96MHz that shall be included in the commercial FM band 88 to 108 MHz range. Output RF power: about 100 mW. For the board to be supplied a +15 V stabilized source shall be required. The consumption shall not exceed 300 mA in worst case. The design features of the board and the low power levels concerned shall  allow it to be used within thelimits of current rules concerning the undue radiations. The board shall be provided with a banana-terminated stackable cable set, of adequate length and colour, and with educational handbook.

Technical Features:
The equipment shall be  provided with audio amplifiers, stereo decoder, quartz controlled PLL local oscillator and RF and output stages. Transmitter working frequency: within the band 88 - 108 MHz. RF output power: limited to 100 mW approx. in order not to interfere with public broadcasting. Power supply: + 15 Vdc, 300 mA With this module it must be possible to perform the following experiments: Experimental functional study of the transmitter, Study of channel Amplifiers and encoding Array, Study of the stereo Encoder, Study of the modulator, Study of the RF amplifier and power amplifier, Transmitter alignment.
