55794 Experimental Set-Up has been designed specifically to determine the value of ‘g’ acceleration due to gravity at a certain place, with the help of a Bar Pendulum.

The set-up is complete in all respects and requires no other apparatus. Practical experience on this set up carries great educative value for Science and Engineering Students.

To determine the value of ‘g’with the help of a Bar Pendulum.
To find the radius of gyration of the given pendulum for axis through its centre of mass.

FEATURES

The complete Experimental Set-up consists of the followings :

COMPOUND BAR PENDULUM : Consisting of a steel bar 100 cm long bored at equal intervals, with two removable knife edges & a wall bracket.
DIGITAL STOP CLOCK : With START/STOPoperation by means of toggle switch & RESETby a push button switch. It has a range of 999.9 seconds with resolution of 0.1 seconds and accuracy of ±0.01% (Quartz controlled). Display is thorough 4 no’s Of 12.5mm bright Seven Segment Displays and working voltage of the unit is 230V± 10% 50Hz.
